Cloudco Entertainment and Bulldog Licensing have secured new licensees for the Care Bears: Unlock the Magic animated content in the UK.
The new Care Bears: Unlock the Magic content includes six animated specials for release on Narrative Entertainment’s free-to-air kids TV channel, Tiny Pop.
The first Care Bears special, Grumpy’s Ginormous Adventure, premiered on May 20 and the release dates for the other Care Bears: Unlock the Magic specials will be announced soon after.
“This fresh content continues the Care Bears’ commitment to promoting empathy and positivity, but also showcases a ton of (perhaps unexpected) wild fantasy, humor, and fun.” said Cloudco president, Sean Gorman. “We’ve always promoted The Care Bears as the rare commercial brand that’s also authentically caring, sharing, and emotionally impactful.”
In addition to the new animated content, the Care Bears brand has signed Gibson’s Games, Flamingo Candles, Pawprint Trading, and Famous Forever as new consumer products partners in the UK.
Gibson’s Games will be responsible for manufacturing a collection of jigsaw puzzles inspired by the Care Bears brand. Flamingo Candles will release a licensed collection of Care Bears candles. Pawprint Trading will manufacture new Care Bears-themed pin badges and embroidered badges. Famous Forever will create a line of licensed Care Bears apparel that includes t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts.
These licensees join numerous existing Care Bears partners in the UK region such as Fizz, Somerbond, Basic Fun!, Bioworld, Dennicci, and more.
These licensing partnerships for the Care Bears brand were secured by CloudCo’s UK agent, Bulldog Licensing. Formed in 2007, Bulldog Licensing is a retail-focused brand management, product development and marketing services agency.
The Care Bears franchise is owned by the Cloudco Entertainment company (formerly known as American Greetings Entertainment).
