Pinterest and Chefclub have entered a strategic partnership to develop five cooking-themed series.
The five new original shows are available on the Chefclub Network Pinterest profile in the US starting in October 2022.
Pinterest is a popular social media platform that focuses on collecting and sharing images and videos. The site was created by Ben Silbermann, Paul Sciarra, and Evan Sharp in 2009.
“Pinterest aims to collaborate with the most innovative creators and partners in order to always offer the most inspiring content to Pinterest users across the globe,” said Johan Gipch, Head of Creator Partnerships for France and Southern Europe at Pinterest.
“In that context, we are thrilled to announce the launch of these five new original shows produced by our long-time partner Chefclub. As always, Chefclub innovates in the cooking content landscape by designing creative, entertaining and educational content, perfectly in line with Pinterest’s DNA.”
Chefclub is a global culinary-themed entertainment brand that focuses on family-oriented content. Founded in 2016 by Thomas, Jonathan and Axel Lang, Chefclub provides content in the video and publishing categories for their large fanbase. The brand also offers both direct-to-consumer and direct-to-retail licensed consumer product lines.
Chefclub digital content currently streams across the globe on its proprietary channels, social platforms and FAST streamers such as Pluto TV and Samsung Plus.
The new Chefclub x Pinterest series include The Party Table, Everything Must Go, Do It For The Pin, Far From The Kitchen, and What’s In My Plate.
The Party Table series will feature information on how to execute successful themed parties.
The Everything Must Go show focuses on a different ingredient each episode to teach its audience how to reduce food waste.
The Do It For The Pin series highlights tips and tricks for food-related Pinterest pictures.
Far From the Kitchen is a cooking show set outdoors that features ASMR-friendly filming techniques.
What’s In My Plate is a food-based game show where participants can win money by guessing the correct ingredients of Michelin-starred dishes.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Pinterest and to put our studio at the forefront of cooking show productions,” said Thomas Lang, Chefclub co-founder and CEO. “The innovative concepts we bring to life with this partnership come to enlarge our catalog, push the boundaries of cooking shows on social media, and bring new original content to the highly demanding audience of the platform.”
Chefclub’s partnership with Pinterest follows streaming deals with high-profile video-on-demand channels such as Pluto TV in the US, UK, Spain, and Latin America and Samsung TV in France and Switzerland.
