WildBrain has secured several international distribution deals for the animated preschool series, Brave Bunnies.
Created by Olga Cherepanova, Brave Bunnies follows an adorable bunny family as they visit friends and travel the world in their Bunny Bus.
“With Brave Bunnies, I wanted to create a series that would encourage children to be curious about the world around them, and to not only respect but celebrate its diversity,” said Glowberry co-founder, Olga Cherepanova. “It’s rewarding to see children around the world connect so strongly with these important values through the show’s lovable characters and their adventures.”
The Brave Bunnies preschool series is produced through a collaborative partnership between Glowberry, WildBrain, Anima Kitchent and KidsMe.
Per the terms of the partnership, WildBrain is responsible for Brave Bunnies’ global distribution, while Glowberry manages distribution in Ukraine, KidsMe in Italy, and Anima Kitchent in Spain.
The new international agreements are intended to coincide with the launch of Brave Bunnies’ second season.
Wildbrain has secured distribution partnerships with TeleTOON+ in Poland, Channel 5’s Milkshake! in the UK, and Rai Yoyo in Italy for both seasons of the animated series.
Additional distribution deals for season one of Brave Bunnies have been signed with CNC Media International in South Korea, Stan in Australia, and the WildBrain+ channel on Comcast in the US.
“It’s easy to understand why we continue to see strong demand for Brave Bunnies from broadcasters and streamers worldwide,” said Wildbrain VP, Caroline Tyre. “Through catchy songs, adorable characters and big adventures, the charming series engages kids everywhere, appealing to their sense of joy and imagination. It also fosters values of curiosity, creativity, acceptance and openness, encouraging kids to discover what they might have in common with new friends, while also celebrating what makes them different.”
These new international distribution deals add to the extensive list of global streaming and broadcasting platforms that already air the Brave Bunnies series.
Initially founded as a publishing house in 2009, Glowberry has grown into a creative production company that specializes in high-quality animated content for children and families.
The company has secured numerous partnerships with industry professionals in the animation, broadcasting, film production and licensing sectors.
“We believe that creativity, openness to the diversity of the world, and the ability to enjoy life make children’s lives exciting, and we are guided by this in our work,” said Cherepanova. “We are extremely proud of the team of professional artists and professionals from various fields that we have managed to assemble to work on Glowberry products.”
Anima Kitchent is an animation company that focuses on creating, producing, distributing, and marketing in-house and third-party entertainment brands for children and youth.
KidsMe is an Italian company that develops, produces, curates and distributes entertainment media for kids and families.
The global licensing and merchandising rights for the Brave Bunnies IP is handled by WildBrain CPLG, excluding Ukraine and Italy.
