Creative Licensing Announces New Game Deals

Creative Licensing isn’t just playing around, but they’re making it a lot more fun for those who are.

Creative Licensing has been busy expanding their roster of digital games, introducing some familiar action heroes from the ’80s and ’90s to a new generation of gamers and fans through downloadable content (DLC) licenses. The LA-based firm has inked new gaming deals with major franchises like World of Tanks, Mortal Kombat, Fortnite, Dead By Daylight, and Evil Dead: The Game.

All of the agreements involved popular film or video game characters being incorporated into these game franchises.

In an agreement legendary cinematic war hero John Rambo was enlisted in one of the most successful fighting franchises in video game history when he drew first blood inside the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate universe as part of Kombat Pack 2 in late 2020.

In a deal with Wargaming, over 160 million players met World of Tanks’ newest tank commanders, Rambo and Snake Plissken (Escape From New York) as they joined the ranks of this team-based massively multiplayer online game in December 2020.

On Jan. 21, 2021, Sarah Connor and the T-800 Endoskeleton from The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day joined Agent Jonesy and over 350 million players worldwide in Epic Games’ wildly successful cross-platform game Fortnite.

Also in January Dead by Daylight from Behaviour Interactive extended their DLC license for Michael Myers from the iconic horror film, Halloween. Over 15 million players have experienced the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game.

After generating much excitement with an introductory trailer debut at the 2020 Video Game Awards at the end of 2020, the highly anticipated title Evil Dead: The Game from Diversion 3 is set to release in Summer 2021. This complex game dedicated to the Evil Dead franchise features Evil Dead 2 as a fundamental part of the gameplay. It will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows.

Rambo (First Blood, Rambo First Blood Part II, Rambo III), Escape From New York, The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and Evil Dead 2 are represented by Creative Licensing on behalf of STUDIOCANAL S.A.S. Halloween is represented by Creative Licensing for Compass International Pictures.
