Dick’s Sporting Goods Renews Partnership with the WNBA

Dick’s Sporting Goods has signed a multi-year agreement with the WNBA to extend its role as an official retail and marketing partner.
The renewed agreement will extend the organization’s licensing partnership through to the WNBA’s 2028 basketball season.
“This partnership renewal with Dick’s Sporting Goods reflects our shared commitment to growing the game at every level,” said WNBA’s chief growth officer, Colie Edison. “Dick’s plays an essential role in advancing our league’s value of community by giving fans everywhere greater access to express their fandom. From investing in our franchises to empowering young athletes, Dick’s continues to be a vital partner in our efforts to elevate women’s basketball and inspire the next generation.”

Goodyear and Tender One Sail Into Luxury Boating Market

Starting this season, Dick’s Sporting Goods is serving as a marketing partner of both the WNBA and the Jr. WNBA through its GameChanger mobile platform and subsidiary company.
The GameChanger mobile platform will offer access to enhanced features like live streaming, scheduling, communications and scorekeeping for the Jr. WNBA’s youth basketball games.
Dick’s will also be able to host local youth programming on-site at the junior basketball league’s events.
“We’re proud to have been a WNBA partner for the last three years and are so thrilled to extend our partnership with the league for another four seasons,” said Dick’s chief marketing officer, Emily Silver. “For a long time, we’ve known that investing in women’s sports is smart business, and we look forward to continuing to find ways to show-up for fans, new and old, and build powerful moments that support the league and its players for years to come.”
As an additional activation, Dick’s Sporting Goods is continuing the nationwide It’s Her Shot basketball initiative alongside Nike.
Designed to promote youth participation in basketball, It’s Her Shot offers girls aged 8 to 18 with free access to skills clinics, pickup games and mentorship opportunities with professional WNBA players.

The charitable program has hosted 20 events throughoutthe current WNBA markets since it first kicked off in 2021.
It’s Her Shot has also donated over $300,000 to youth organizations across the country.
Dick’s Sporting Goods offers a wide assortment of officially licensed WNBA apparel and equipment across its e-commerce website, mobile app and retail store network.
The WNBA is a professional women’s sports league from the United States.
In addition to its professional basketball games and tournaments, the WNBA has an ongoing societal impact initiative called the WNBA Changemakers Collective.
The Changemakers Collective is supported with help from corporate sponsors like AT&T, Carmax, Deloitte, Google and Nike.
