Dolly Parton Inks Fragrance Deal With Edge Beauty

Country music star Dolly Parton has signed a long-term license deal with Edge Beauty for the creation, development and distribution of the iconic entertainment superstar’s signature fragrance, in a deal brokered by IMG.

The fragrances will be inspired by Dolly’s own signature scent, with the first collection set to launch in Spring 2021.

“Fragrance has always played a major role in my life—I wear my own combination of scents every day,” said Parton. “I am so excited to share this dream with my fans. Developing my own brand and scent with Edge Beauty has been an amazing experience, and I am looking forward to becoming a big part of the fragrance community.”

The deal is a major coup for Edge Beauty. Parton is arguably the most honored and well-loved female country music singer in history, with 25 RIAA-certified gold, platinum, and multi-platinum awards, she has had 26 songs reach #1 on the Billboard country charts, a record for a female artist.

She has 44 career Top 10 country albums, a record for any artist, and 110 career-charted singles over the past 40 years, and she recently proved she remains current, posting a Number 1 hit on multiple Billboard charts for her duet There Was Jesus with Zach Williams.

Parton has collected 10 Grammies and 49 Grammy nominations over her long career, including a rare Lifetime Achievement Award.
