Hershey’s is partering with the Pokémon Company International to introduce special-edition Hershey’s Kisses with collectible foils that feature licensed Pokémon art.
With 151 distinct foil designs, the co-branded candy collection features all of the Pokémon from the franchise’s original Kanto region.
Each milk chocolate Hershey’s Kiss is wrapped with a Poké Ball themed exterior foil with different characters like Pikachu, Mew and Squirtle on the interior.
The collaborative partnership is designed to cater to Pokémon’s wide fanbase and collector demographic.
To help fans track their discoveries and show off their finds, the Hershey’s Kisses brand is also offering a limited-edition Collector’s Case.
Designed specifically to hold all 151 chocolates, the exclusive Collector’s Case is built for fans to display their full Hershey’s Kisses x Pokémon collection.
Fans can create an account through the official Hersheyland website for a chance to win onee of the special-edition Collector’s Cases, while supplies last.
“Our collaboration with Pokémon combines the timeless appeal of Hershey’s Kisses chocolates with the joy of discovery and collecting — making it more than just a treat,” said The Hershey Company senior associate brand manager, Ashley Reeb. “The special-edition foils may spark a little friendly competition but also unite fans around their love for milk chocolate and Pokémon.”
In addition, the Hershey’s brand is taking the experience to the digital screen through an online Pokémon foil progress tracker.
Throughout the summer, fans can log their foils on the Hershey’s website and unlock digital certificates that can be shared across social media.
