Spin Master’s Toca Boca studio has partnered with the Katseye music group to bring them into the Toca Boca World digital game.
Launched June 10, the partnership has introduced licensed guest characters that reflect the Katseye members as characters within Toca Boca World.
“Our fans have been a part of our journey since our creation and now our Eyekons can come together in Toca Boca World to experience Katseye through playful self-expression, exploring our music all while celebrating their own uniqueness and style,” said Katseye.
The six members of the Katseye group include Sophia Laforteza, Manon Bannerman, Lara Raj, Daniela Avanzini, Megan Skiendiel and Yoonchae Jeong.
Each licensed character is designed to represent the distinct style, personality and appearance of each member of the Katseye group.
In addition to the in-game characters, Toca Boca World players can connect with licensed content such as a custom-skinned music player, a themed style pack, a free gift event and four of the bands songs feature on the Toca Boca World Voxella Festival stage.
The Katseye songs included in the collaboration are Touch, Debut, I’m Pretty and an all-new single that will be added on July 2.
“We want Toca Boca players to feel like they can boldly and unapologetically be themselves,” said Toca Boca co-founder, Emil Ovemar. “This collaboration is all about finding your people, owning your style, and having fun while doing it. Toca Boca and Katseye come together in a fun mix of culture, music, and entertainment—bringing our global communities even closer through shared values of inclusivity and self-expression.”
The themed in-game style pack includes twelve avatar outfits, hairstyles and accessories inspired by Katseye’s style both on and offstage.
Available free to players, the digital gift event will deliver a Katseye-inspired fan outfit, dance rehearsal bag, tumbler, poster and each girl’s charms in a magic jewelry box with branded wrapping paper.
“This collaboration with Katseye is about more than just music and culture; it’s about empowerment,” said Toca Boca head, Mathilda Engman. “This is an invitation to shine boldly, inspiring fans to connect through style and storytelling. Players can not only see Katseye in Toca Boca World, but also be a part of the magic together with them.”
Running until August 26, the limited-edition collaboration is intended to reinforce the gaming studio’s investment in music, identity development and self-expression.
Founded in 2011, Toca Boca is owned by the global children’s entertainment company, Spin Master.
