MGA Entertainment’s newest line of fashion dolls, Rainbow High, has debuted with its first episode of a new series on Netflix, which aired March 29.
The line of dolls had rose quickly in popularity since their release. According to The NPD Group, Rainbow High was the number one new toy, #6 among all dolls, and #3 in the category for fashion dolls and accessories.
Now the hit fashion dolls are taking their talents to Netflix with the first eight episodes of the animated series, Rainbow High.
The series originally debuted on YouTube in October 2020 and has amassed millions of views through its cult following of unique and inspiring girls. From YouTube to Netflix, the content will give viewers access to the many stories surrounding the popular Rainbow High students. Viewers can get acquainted with Ruby Anderson, Poppy Rowan, Sunny Madison, Jade Hunter, Skyler Bradshaw, Violet Willow, and more as they start their first year at the elite fashion and fine arts school, Rainbow High, where they learn the tenets of G.L.A.M (Grit, Love, Action and Moxie).
“It’s been an incredible past six months since the Rainbow High girls took their first fashionable step forward and entered the halls of Rainbow High,” said Anne Parducci, Chief Content Officer for MGAE.
“The fans have fallen in love with each Rainbow High character, following their exciting journey as a student at Rainbow High. As more audiences discover the characters on Netflix, and what it means to be G.L.A.M, we are inspiring girls to follow their passions, celebrate individuality and embrace their creativity.”
