Pottery Barn Kids has launched a partnership with the Pokémon Company International for a licensed collection inspired by the entertainment franchise.
The products from Pottery Barn Kids offer a variety of designs that span back-to-school accessories, bedroom decorations and playroom furnishings.
This includes a range of bedding, backpacks, lunch bags, accessories and home décor that feature well-known Pokémon like Pikachu, Jigglypuff and Eevee.
“With a dedicated global fanbase, Pokémon has captured the hearts of millions,” said Pottery Barn Kids SVP, Allison Spampanato. “Partnering with such an imaginative brand allows us to create playful, design-forward pieces inspired by beloved Pokémon and crafted with quality to resonate with both kids and parents alike.”
A subsidiary of The Pokémon Company in Japan, Pokémon Company International is responsible for managing the rights to the Pokémon entertainment property outside of Asia.
This includes the management, licensing, marketing and development of the Pokémon franchise’s TCG, TV series, films, games, official website and more.
“Pokémon appeals to fans across generations, and many parents who grew up with the franchise are now sharing their love of Pokémon with their own kids and families,” said Pokémon Company International senior director, Amy Sachtleben. “As a cross-generational brand, we’re always looking to develop new products that help Trainers of all ages express their fandom, making premium home retailer Pottery Barn Kids the ideal partner for adding a touch of Pokémon to anyone’s home or back-to-school gear.”
A portfolio brand of Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn Kids was introduced in 1999 to offer high-quality and safety-tested home furnishings that appeal to children and youth.
Available around the world, the brand focuses on manufacturing stylish kid-frendly products using eco-conscious methods and sustainable materials.
Williams-Sonoma is an international retail company that offers products from a portfolio of home and lifestyle brands.
These products are distributed and marketed through its global network of e-commerce, direct-mail catalogs and in-person retail stores.
In addition to Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma represents a wide selection of consumer brands such as West Elm, Rejuvenation, Mark and Graham, Williams Sonoma Home and GreenRow.
