TreImage Adds BALL’N Lifestyle Brand To Its Roster

The Marketing and Licensing Agency TreImage, LLC continues to gain street cred with the addition of the BALL’N brand to its roster.

“BALL’N is very pleased to announce our new partnership with Trelmage.” said Rod Jeter, founder of the BALL’N brand. “Charles and his team have a proven track record as a successful licensing agency. This partnership, being formed by two successful black-owned businesses during Black History Month, is very special for myself and BALL’N, as it represents a giant step forward in building our own table.”

Rod Jeter is a Chicago native who attended Wichita State University and began his career in 1991 after serving time in the US Army. The idea that someone could launch a clothing company while serving in the Army might see counter-intuitive, but Jeter was stationed in Korea, played for the US Army Traveling Basketball Team, and spent his down time visiting footwear and apparel manufacturing factories. Rodney was fascinated with the process, and it was during his service overseas that he decided to launch a sports lifestyle brand called BALL’N.
Jeter, a player and fan of the game, conceived of BALL’N as a lifestyle brand that embodies the essence of athleticism and basketball culture. With an instant audience and a buzz factor, the BALL’N tees and shorts started making their way onto basketball playgrounds, and before long Jeter started supplying basketball uniforms to the hard core Chicago circuit, as well as supplying uniforms to many NBA players for Charity Basketball Games.
In the following years, Jeter began working on securing a footwear partner, while simultaneously selling his apparel products and team uniforms to independent retailers and directly to consumers. BALL’N now produces apparel and shoes.
“I’ve had some interesting alliances in my career; some helped me grow, and some have posed some significant challenges,” Jeter says. “With each experience, I’ve learned more about my business. Patience and perseverance have allowed me to prevail.”
Since then, Rodney has partnered with a sourcing company, securing quality manufacturing and sourcing solutions.
Charles Singleton, CEO of TreImage, says his company likes the fact BALL’N has made great strides through its work ethic and innovation, and forecasts great things for the brand going forward.
“The BALL’N brand has a great deal of growth potential,” Singleton says. “TreImage is looking forward to orchestrating its expansion through licensed merchandise and other collaborative opportunities.”

BALL’N is a Luxe Sports lifestyle brand worn by NBA and Streetball legends, creating high quality athletic apparel and footwear, for on and off-court wear.

Product categories available for licensing include apparel, bags, footwear, accessories, sports gear, sports equipment, game apps and toys. Licensing inquiries can be addressed to Kim Winkeleer via
