VP Racing is putting the pedal to the metal for its 50th anniversary, revving up celebrations with a licensed merchandise designed to bring high-octane style to racing fans everywhere.
After half a century of fueling motorsports — from drag strips to dirt tracks — VP Racing is marking the milestone with a flurry of new partnerships and commemorative products that span from die-cast cars to drinkware. The brand’s licensing program, which has grown steadily in recent years, is now a key part of its strategy to connect with racing fans on and off the track.
“This year, we’re not just celebrating a legacy of speed — we’re celebrating a brand that knows how to shift gears into culture,” said Kelley Hendel, VP Racing’s Consumer Products Sales and Licensing Manager. “Thanks to our creative and committed partners, the VP Racing vibe now lives in garages, man caves, and tailgates across the country.”
Among the highlights of the 50th anniversary lineup:
-
Castline is rolling out two special-edition M2 Machines die-cast cars: a 1:24 scale 1971 ‘Cuda this summer, and a 1:64 scale 1971 Dodge Charger in the fall — perfect for collectors who like their muscle cars mini but mighty.
-
CPTN Apparel is releasing a limited-edition racing jacket this fall, ensuring fans can keep warm while looking track-ready.
-
Dixxon is dropping a commemorative flannel shirt — ideal for those who prefer their fashion fast and flammable (in spirit only).
-
Johny Rockstar is fueling the festivities with anniversary T-shirts and mechanic shirts that say, “I know my torque specs.”
-
Logo Brands is producing tailgating essentials, including drinkware fit for fans who like their beverages as cold as their engines.
-
NRG Innovations is gearing up with racing accessories that put function in the fast lane.
-
Patch Collection has two embroidered patches that let fans wear their horsepower on their sleeves.
-
Premier Metal Art will offer an anniversary aluminum sign that brings VP Racing’s legacy to your wall — no pit pass required.
Vivian Velasco, president of Pacific Swell Brands, which manages VP Racing’s licensing efforts, says the brand has carved out a niche that’s “part performance, part lifestyle.”
“We’ve had the privilege of working with VP Racing for six years now,” Velasco said. “It’s a brand that doesn’t just go full throttle on the track; it accelerates through every category, from automotive to apparel.”
With products now found in everything from hardware and farm stores to big-box retailers, VP Racing is continuing its expansion at top speed. And there’s more to come, as Pacific Swell Brands is exploring new licensing deals beyond 2025.
