Netflix is expanding its operations in Europe by creating 400 jobs at a new Amsterdam customer service hub. It’s also developing two new European TV series to be filmed in Germany and France. The center is intended to offer multilingual support to Netflix subscribers in 11 European countries: the U.K., Ireland, Finland, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Denmark, Romania, Sweden, The Netherlands and Belgium.
U.K. firm Larkshead Media establishes Dublin-based partner company Larkshead Media Ireland to be led by Eamon McElwee. The new branch will work on development, strategy, investment, licensing, merchandising and distribution for kids content in the U.K. and Europe.
