Hasbro strengthens its European consumer products leadership team: Sally Carnota is promoted to Director U.K. & EMEA Retail Development for Consumer Products and Moris Calasso is appointed Director Consumer Products Southern Europe. In her new role, Carnota will be responsible for managing the U.K. Consumer Products business and will lead the Retail Development team across EMEA.

Kellee C. Hartman joins SG Companies as Senior Manager Licensing & Marketing. She was previously at Crayola as Manager Outbound Licensing.

The Point.1888 appoints five new team members:

  • Janine Richmond joins as Retail & Brand Manager to head up the homeware team;
  • Ed Butler joins as Retail & Brand Manager to head up the FMCG category;
  • Sahar Mir now heads the product development team; and
  • New brand executives Jack Burns and Olivia Wiggett will provide support across the company.

Sandra Jovicic departs as Valentino’s U.S. CEO after joining the couture house in July 2017. The current CEO of the Valentino Fashion Group is Stefano Sassi, who joined the brand in 2006.

Vasque Footwear, part of the Red Wing Shoe Co., names Allison Gettings  VP & GM of Red Wing Vasque. Meanwhile, George Curleigh will pivot to focus exclusively on the global growth of Red Wing Heritage.

In the midst of restructuring, Acme Furniture names Bruce Frenzel as VP Sales & Merchandising and James Su as COO. Former CEO Jeff Wallner left the company in early Sept.

Jackie DeLeo is promoted to VP Product Management & Merchandising at Readerlink.

Tanya Seamans is promoted to Contracts & Royalties Administrator at Candlewick Press.

Ed Several, who took over the direction of this year’s BookExpo and BookCon, will be leaving Reed Exhibitions this fall. Jenny Martin takes the leadership role for the foreseeable future.

Jeffrey Davis is resigns from his position as J.C. Penney’s EVP & CF. Davis will join QVC as its new CFO effective Oct. 15.

At J.C. Penney, Jerry Murray, SVP Finance, will assume the position of interim CFO.
