The rapidly growing entertainment company ZAG has made two new key hires as it grows the product and IP side of its business.
Christophe Vallade, the former head of e-commerce and digital marketing at The Walt Disney Company in France, is taking on the role of VP of global e-commerce, making him responsible for the animation studio’s brand marketing and online sales growth.
ZAG also hired Ben Johnson (pictured) as SVP of Legal and Litigation, a task that is growing in importance thanks to the growing popularity of products related to ZAG programs and films, particularly the Miraculous series, featuring the characters Ladybug and Cat Noir.
In addition to the TV special Miraculous World: Shanghai – The Legend of Lady Dragon, the fourth season of Miraculous – Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir will launch this summer, and the feature film Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir ‘The Awakening’ is set to hit theaters later this year.
Before joining ZAG this week, Johnson was the VP and Head of Litigation at MGA Entertainment.
