Born to License has brokered a partnership between Steven Singer Jewelers and Cloudco Entertainment for a Care Bears-themed, gold-dipped rainbow rose.

Founded in 1980, Steven Singer Jewelers is a Philadelphia-based company that offers a wide range of jewelry pieces using responsibly-sourced materials.

“Partnering with Steven Singer Jewelers to launch the Care Bears 24kt gold-dipped rose is a wonderful moment for our brand,” said Cloudco Entertainment head, Robert Prinzo. “With this collaboration, we’re focused on creating genuine, quality collector’s items that Care Bears fans old and new will appreciate and treasure.”

Initially introduced in 1982, Care Bears is a global children’s entertainment property that has expanded to include numerous licensed products, toys, TV series, movies, published works, experiential activations, promotional initiatives and more.

The new Care Bears-themed Steven Singer Jewelers product is constructed from a real rose and real 24K gold. Each rose chosen for the gilding process is disassembled and then reassembled by hand to allow for the gold plating process.

This product collaboration with Cloudco Entertainment’s Care Bears brand marks Steven Singer Jewelers first venture into the licensing industry.

“Entering the world of licensing is a thrilling new step for us, particularly with a partner like Care Bears,” said Steven Singer Jewelers owner, Steven Singer. “It’s an honor to be able to collaborate with such an iconic and beloved brand. Introducing collectible packaging for our signature 24kt Gold Dipped Roses has been a delightful first for us, and we love it.”

The licensing process for the gold-dipped Care Bears rose was managed by the Born to License agency on behalf of Steven Singer Jewelers. Born to License was responsible for identifying the license, negotiating the licensing terms, managing the approval process, and overseeing all other licensing aspects.

“We are super excited to see Steven Singer Jewelers enter the licensing space and we’re grateful to be given the important responsibility of ensuring that it’s a success,” said Born to License CEO, David Born. “We’re confident that licensing will play a key part in their business as they continue to surprise and delight their customers.”

Born to License is a full-service brand management and licensing agency that specializes in building programs for companies who are new to the licensing industry.

Steven Singer Jewelers has launched the limited-edition gold-dipped Care Bears rose from both their Philadelphia store and their nationwide ecommerce website. The launch is currently being supported by a traditional advertising and social media campaign. Steven Singer Jewelers has plans to launch additional licensed product collections alongside Born to License throughout 2024 and the coming years.
