Brandgenuity to Represent Top Snack Brand Brownie Brittle

May 14, 2024

By Allison Watkinson

TLL Reporter

Licensing agency Brandgenuity has been selected as the exclusive licensing agency of record for Brownie Brittle, by Second Nature Brands, a national leader in snacks and treats.

Brownie Brittle is America’s number one brownie snack brand, known for its rich, gourmet brownie taste with a crisp cookie crunch, perfect for on-the-go, at-home or impulse snacking moments.

Second Nature Brands produces a leading portfolio of snacks and treats. Its family of brands includes the top trail mix Kar’s Nuts, Second Nature Snacks, Sahale Snacks, a leader in globally-inspired, sustainably-sourced snack mixes, Sanders Chocolates, a leader in small-batch, kettle-cooked sea salt caramels, and, of course, Brownie Brittle.

Brandgenuity says it plans to extend the crispy, crunchy, and category-defining Brownie Brittle into new food categories, including sweet and salty snacks, cereal, granola bars, ice cream, yogurt, baking mixes and more.

Brownie Brittle appeals to the growing consumer demand for premium indulgent snacks. As a result, the brand is on a growth trajectory, now available across retail channels ranging from mass, grocery and specialty to convenience, drug, dollar and beyond. The brand can be found in major retailers including Target, Kroger, Albertson’s, Costco, Walgreen’s, 7-11, and more.

Sean Kristl, Senior Brand Manager of Second Nature Brands, says the growing popularity of Brownie Brittle makes it an ideal licensing partner.

“We are thrilled to be extending Brownie Brittle into more product categories that satisfy brownie fans seeking that rich chocolate taste,” said Kristl. “It is the first time we’re licensing out the Brownie Brittle brand, and it was vital that we work with a team who is passionate about our brand and has the right food licensing experience. We can’t wait to see what innovative ideas the Brandgenuity team will bring to the table.”

Rachel Humiston, Vice President, Client Services, at Brandgenuity says consumers can’t get enough Brownie Brittle as a sweet snack on its own, or crumbled as a topping over ice cream, yogurt, baked goods and more.

“We could not be more excited to get to work with Brownie Brittle,” Humiston said. “As food and beverage licensing continues to grow, we think this is the perfect time to extend Brownie Brittle. The indulgent, flavor-driven nature of Brownie Brittle lends itself to many more snacking occasions, and, the brand has multiple delicious flavors—Chocolate Chip, Salted Caramel, Toffee Crunch and more—that will be desirable for licensees.”

The partnership between Brownie Brittle and Brandgenuity was signed just in time for the upcoming Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, starting May 21.

Parties interested in exploring licensing opportunities with Brownie Brittle can contact the team at info@brandgenuity.com, make an appointment through the  Licensing Expo online meeting platform, or visit Brandgenuity at Booth J140.
