Bulldog Secures New Sesame Street Licensing Deals in the UK

July 11, 2024

Bulldog Licensing has secured two new UK-based licensing deals for Sesame Street with Heathside Trading and OddBalls.
Heathside Trading is a collectibles and gifting company that produces a wide variety of licensed products such as branded toys, games, collectibles, drinkware, accessories and novelty items.
In an agreement brokered on behalf of Heathside Trading by KJG Limited, Heathside will be producing an extensive collection of Sesame Street gifts and novelties.
This will include Sesame Street-inspired mini figures, 2D keychains, drinking bottles, bobbleheads, 3D bag clips and die-cast figures.
“It’s amazing to think that four generations have grown up with Sesame Street’s wonderful characters and positive messaging and that it continues to delight new fans,” said Heathside Trading SD, Max Nelson. “We’re thrilled to be part of the Sesame Street licensing program and have no doubt that our range of brand-inspired gifts and novelties will find a ready and enthusiastic reception from fans of all ages.”
OddBalls is a clothing design and manufacturing company that specializes in high-quality underwear, sportswear, accessories and sleepwear.
As Sesame Street’s newest UK apparel licensee, Oddballs will be producing a range of Sesame Street branded underwear and pajamas in both adult and children’s sizes.

“Laughter, learning, beloved characters and iconic imagery are what Sesame Street has been about for over 50 years and still is about today,” said OddBalls head, Matthew Gibson. “It’s an evergreen brand that always appeals. We’re thrilled and privileged to be bringing our expertise on apparel design and manufacture to this collaboration with Sesame Street.”
Both of these new branded collections will use  design elements inspired by Sesame Street’s officially licensed characters and positive brand messages about kindness, learning and the power of laughter.
Heathside and Oddballs are the latest partners to join Sesame Street’s rapidly-growing UK licensing campaign.
Bulldog Licensing has launched numerous collaborations and product partnerships for Sesame Street since the agency was first appointed to represent the brand’s UK licensing program in 2018.
“So many licensees respect and admire the Sesame Street brand—most of them grew up with it and it’s now a hit with their kids,” said Bulldog MD, Rob Corney. “It’s no surprise that it has attracted such leaders in their fields as Heathside Trading and OddBalls, both of which have excelled themselves in bringing this loved and admired property to appealing ranges of gifts and apparel.”
The new Oddballs x Sesame Street product range will be launching in the fourth quarter of 2024 through multiple online retail outlets including Amazon and the official Oddballs e-commerce website.
The licensed Sesame Street x Heathside collection will be distributed at a wide range of gift shops, toy stores and online retailers throughout the UK in Q4 of 2024.
Owned by the global Sesame Workshop non-profit organization, Sesame Street’s educational entertainment content is currently available through a wide range of traditional broadcasting and digital streaming platforms such as Amazon Kids+, Tiny Pop, Channel 5’s Milkshake!, and the official Sesame Street YouTube channel.
