CAA to Rep Dr. Seuss In A Box, With A Fox, in Latin America

CAA Brand Management has signed a multi-year agreement to serve as the licensing agency for Dr. Seuss Enterprises in Latin America.

The news from Dr. Seuss Enterprises CEO Susan Brandt and CAA president Noah Gelbart was so exciting the spirit of Dr. Seuss weighed in personally with this statement:

“In the land of Seuss, where the stories run wild,

CAA Brand Management has signed up in style.

They’ll license Doc Seuss in LATAM, you see,

From Brazil to Mexico City, oh what glee!

With offices here and offices there,

They’ll manage Dr. Seuss with the utmost care.

Apparel and toys, health and beauty too,

Food and drink, oh the things they will do!

With experts in more than twenty lands,

CAA will spread Seuss magic with their capable hands.

Luxury, designers, collaborations galore,

Dr. Seuss’s wonders will reach even more.

“Our mission,” said Susan Brandt with a smile so wide,

“Is to teach and entertain, far and wide.

LATAM is a step, a big one indeed,

With CAA’s help, we’ll surely succeed.”

Noah Gelbart chimed in, with a twinkle in his eye,

“Seuss’s tales will soar, oh so high!

In LATAM we’ll grow, with stories so grand,

New collaborations, all perfectly planned.”

So here’s to Seuss Enterprises, in LATAM they’ll thrive,

With CAA’s help, the magic’s alive!”

Under the multi-year agreement, CAA will oversee Dr. Seuss Enterprises’ existing consumer products partnerships throughout the region, in addition to growing the brand’s portfolio into new categories, including Apparel and Accessories, Toys and Games, Health and Beauty, and Food and Beverage.

The imaginative stories and crazy characters of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss will be respresented in Latin America by CAA Brand Management.

The agency, which has employees and local expertise in more than 20 countries, says it will access its global network to extend Dr. Seuss’s iconic portfolio through luxury and designer collaborations.

“Our mission at Dr. Seuss Enterprises is to educate and entertain generations around the world,” said Brandt, the president and CEO of Dr. Seuss Enterprises. “This significant entry into LATAM is an important step in furthering this goal. We are confident that CAA will be successful in translating our characters, stories, and life lessons into meaningful products and collaborations.”

Founded in 1993, Dr. Seuss Enterprises is a global children’s entertainment and licensing company focused on promoting literacy, education, and imagination through the works of Dr. Seuss. All Dr. Seuss Enterprises’ profits benefit charitable organizations that focus on causes such as education, health, animal conservation, and the arts.

“Dr. Seuss’s beloved stories and characters have delighted people of all ages for many generations,” said Gelbart, president of CAA Brand Management. “We see a tremendous opportunity to further extend the licensed program within the burgeoning LATAM market through the creation and execution of new and innovative storytelling collaborations across the world of Dr. Seuss.”
