Cloudco Entertainment and kkplus have announced a licensed Care Bears Express holiday event at the Langham Place mall in Hong Kong.
Langham Place is a large, 16-story shopping centre and commercial complex that is located in the Kowloon district of Hong Kong.
The Cloudco and kkplus partnership in Langham Place features an extensive Care Bears Express Christmas installation that began on Nov. 10, 2023 and will continue until Jan. 1, 2024.
“Care Bears have always been about spreading joy and love, and what better time to amplify this message than during the Christmas season,” said Cloudco Entertainment director, Charlotte Payne. “We’re thrilled to see the Care Bears Express come to life in Hong Kong, inviting fans to immerse themselves in the world of Care-a-Lot at Langham Place.” The immersive installation includes a variety of Care Bears themed offerings throughout four different floors of the Langham Place shopping centre. These installations include a multicolored Care Bears plaza, a heart-shaped Care-a-Lot Christmas tree, giant statues of official Care Bear characters, and a limited-time kkplus branded pop-up shop.
Kkplus is a collectable toy company that offers a wide range of different toys and figurines through both its online platform and limited-edition pop-up exhibitions.
The company works to promote Hong Kong’s toy culture by collaborating and interacting with different local and global entertainment and play-focused brands.
The kkplus x Care Bears pop-up store in Langham Place currently offers more than three hundred licensed toys, Christmas decorations and winter fashion items.
This number includes a selection of event-exclusive collectibles and figures such as Hong Kong’s first collection of limited-quantity, special-edition Care Bears plush toys.
The limited-edition Care Bears plush toy releases include special 9-inch Care Bears character plush and a light-blue ‘I Care Bear’ figure with a heart patch.
In collaboration with Cloudco Entertainment, Langham Place has also crafted multiple Care Bear holiday photo areas, interactive arcade games with themed prizes, and much more.
Care Bears is a children’s entertainment property that has been featured in numerous consumer product collections, greeting cards, TV shows, movies, games and events since the IP debuted in 1982.
The licensing and distribution rights to the Care Bears franchise is represented by Cloudco Entertainment.
