Cloudco Expands Care Bears Brand with New Licensees

Cloudco Entertainment has secured multiple new licensing agreements and partnership renewals for the Care Bears brand.
The new licensing partnerships are intended to expand the franchise into additional product categories and demographics throughout North America.
“The Care Bears have been spreading joy and happiness for over four decades, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see the brand continue to soar with these incredible consumer product deals,” said Cloudco’s Robert Prinzo. “It’s a true testament to the enduring magic and versatility of the Care Bears, and we can’t wait to see the smiles they bring to our fans in North America.”
The new licensing partnerships for the brand include agreements with Panoceanic, Berkshire, Smoko, Southern Telecom, Tonies, Trends International, FHB, and Townley.
Panoceanic will develop a Care Bears sunglasses collection for all age demographics.
Berkshire will offer a range of Care Bears-themed headwear and rain gear for children.
Smoko will release a licensed apparel collection for adult fans of the Care Bears.
Southern Telecom has been secured to create a range of electronic accessories and outdoor inflatable toys.
Monogram will introduce a line of Care Bears blind bag keychains and piggy banks.
Tonies’ will release Care Bears-themed audio experiences for its childrens’ audio player products.
A collection of licensed posters and calendars will be released by Trends International.
FHB will provide licensed homeware products for the Care Bears franchise.
Townley is creating a collection of cruelty-free Care Bears beauty products for kids, tweens, and teens.
In addition to these new partnerships, Cloudco Entertainment has renewed several agreements with existing licensees for the Care Bears franchise.
The renewed licensing agreements for the brand are with Basic Fun!, Rubies, Super Impulse, Igloo, Mad Engine, American Greetings, and Fun.com.
Basic Fun! will continue to serve as the Care Bears master toy partner.
As part of the renewed agreement, Basic Fun! and Cloudco have introduced a new character called Dare to Care Bear to its existing lineup of Care Bears plush toys and Lil’ Besties surprise figures.
“We are thrilled to introduce Dare to Care Bear, the latest member of the Care Bears family, representing our ongoing commitment to inclusivity,” said Cloudco’s Kristeen Tibbits. “As always, the Care Bears continue to inspire fans of all ages to embrace the values of kindness, compassion, and empathy. We are delighted to see how Dare to Care Bear is already helping us share this important message among our dedicated fans.”
Rubies will develop new Care Bears-themed costumes.
Super Impulse will produce new line-ups of Care Bears collectibles.
Igloo will provide a range of Care Bears Care Bears-themed coolers.
Mad Engine will offer a broad range of Care Bears apparel.
American Greetings will release new Care Bears greeting cards.
Fun.com will continue their direct-to-retail partnership with Cloudco through a wide range of Care Bears branded products.
Cloudco Entertainment is a children’s entertainment company that creates and develops multi-platform entertainment franchises, consumer merchandising programs, and branded experiences for audiences across the globe.
