Hershey Offers Sweet Snoopy & Friends Kisses For Valentine’s Day

January 3, 2024

By Allison Watkinson
TLL Reporter
The Hershey Company and Peanuts have entered into a licensing partnership for Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolates featuring Snoopy & Friends.
“Since premiering in 1950, the Peanuts comic strips have celebrated heartwarming and loving friendships through the eyes of Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang,” said Peanuts Worldwide VP, Scott Shillet. “Bringing this collaboration to life with Hershey for Snoopy fans of all ages, via a beloved product like Hershey’s Kisses, is the perfect way to add a little sweetness to the Valentine’s Day season.”
The new Snoopy & Friends Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolates include 18 unique foil wrappers with images of licensed Peanuts characters.
These characters will include Woodstock, Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy himself.
Intended as part of Hershey’s Valentine’s Day 2024 lineup, the licensed Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolates can be purchased for a limited-time in a 9.5 oz. bag variety and a 6.5 oz. Snoopy & Friends Heart box variety.

Hershey’s lineup will also include Cadbury Caramello Miniatures in a 7.5 oz. bag, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups in a giant heart-shaped box.

The Peanuts entertainment brand initially debuted in 1950 as a comic strip by illustrator, Charles M. Schulz. Since then the Peanuts franchise has grown into a global brand that has been featured in numerous animated TV shows, amusement park attractions, live events, comic strips and licensed consumer products.
The characters of Peanuts and its related IP are owned by Peanuts Worldwide, a jointly-run company that is 41% owned by WildBrain, 39% owned by Sony Music Entertainment and 20% owned by the family of Charles M. Schulz.
“No matter how you plan on celebrating Valentine’s Day, or who you plan on celebrating it with, our Valentine’s Day products are guaranteed to make the day a little sweeter,” said The Hershey Company manager, Brian Jones. “From fan-favorites like our returning Hershey’s Kisses Chocolate Dipped Strawberry candies and new innovations like our Hershey’s Kisses Milk Chocolates with Snoopy & Friends Foils, our lineup makes every moment more loveable.”
The limited-edition Snoopy & Friends Hershey products can be found at retailers across the U.S. beginning in January 2024.
Hershey is a multinational snack company headquartered in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The company currently represents more than a 100 sweet and salty snack brands such as Reese’s, Kit Kat, Skinny Pop, Jolly Rancher, Ice Breakers, Hershey and many more.
The Hershey company sells its products in approximately 80 countries worldwide.
