IHOP is launching several licensed menu offerings this spring in collaboration with beverage and entertainment brands such as Pepsi, Silk and Sonic the Hedgehog.
The IHOP x PepsiCo licensing collaboration includes an exclusive relaunch of Pepsi’s limited-edition Maple Syrup Cola as both a beverage and ice cream float at participating IHOP restaurants across the U.S.
Pepsi Maple Syrup Cola was originally launched in 2022 as part of a limited-edition licensing partnership with the IHOP brand.
The Pepsi Maple Syrup Cola was so exclusive during its initial release that the flavor was only tasted by 2,000 individuals.
“As the leader in breakfast, we are continually innovating and expanding our menu to ensure we are introducing menu items our guests want, including the introduction of fun and exciting new beverage options like Pepsi Maple Syrup Cola,” said IHOP VP, Art Carl. “We also remain committed to providing options that satisfy cravings during all dayparts. We take pride in the ways we innovate across the breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night categories that allow guests to enjoy IHOP when they want it, and how they want it.”
The IHOP restaurant brand is also expanding its licensed beverage menu with Silk Oatmeal Cookie Oat Creamer to provide a flavorful plant-based option for its coffee and tea products.
In addition, IHOP is partnering with SEGA for a Sonic the Hedgehog-themed licensing promotion. The collaboration includes a special Sonic-inspired menu, exclusive Sonic the Hedgehog content featured in IHOP’s Stack Market and limited-edition IHOP gift card designs.
The themed Sonic the Hedgehog x IHOP menu includes Amy’s Sweet Strawberry Delight waffle meal, Tails’ 2x2x2 breakfast plate, Dr. Eggman’s benedict, Knuckles’ chicken sandwich, Shadow’s Chaos chocolate pancakes and Sonic’s Blue Blur Special pancakes.
The exclusive Sonic the Hedgehog content on IHOP’s StackMarket includes an exclusive Sonic Superstars DLC outfit for Amy, in addition to download codes for the full Sonic Superstars, Sonic Frontiers, and Sonic Origins Plus video games.
Members of IHOP’s loyalty program can use their earned PanCoins to redeem the exclusive Sonic the Hedgehog digital items.
