Eastman Kodak Company has granted GDB International the exclusive licensing rights to create a collection of Kodak branded architectural paint products.
Under the terms of the agreement, GDB International will be responsible for manufacturing and marketing an extensive range of licensed Kodak Paints and Coatings.
“We are excited to engage with GDB for this brand licensing arrangement to bring the Kodak brand to the world of paints,” said Eastman Kodak Company VP, Clara Fort. “Their vision to push boundaries and embrace innovation and their commitment to sustainability makes this a great fit for the Kodak brand. This relationship will allow us to offer consumers a high-quality line of paints backed by the Kodak name.”
The new collection will include multiple shades of paint, sheens, deck stains, floor coatings, and more.
The agreement is intended to leverage the global reach of the Kodak brand with GDB’s expertise in paint production and distribution.

The licensing agreement between the two companies was brokered by the LMCA licensing agency on behalf of the Kodak brand.
LMCA is a global agency that offers brand extension and licensing services to a wide range of different industries and markets.

Eastman Kodak is a global image technology company that offers products and services related to traditional prints, digital prints, advanced photography materials, and brand licensing.
The company currently owns and operates the Kodak, Ektachrome, and Kodacolor brands.
