Lamborghini’s Racing HyperCars Featured in CSR Racing

January 25, 2024

Zynga and Automobili Lamborghini have announced a multi-year licensing agreement that names CSR Racing an official partner for Lamborghini’s prototype hypercars.

CSR Racing is a mobile gaming franchise from the Zynga-owned subsidiary, NaturalMotion, that focuses on racing realistically rendered sports cars.

The multi-year licensing partnership will feature CSR-2 brand logos on all the cars, drivers and team equipment included in Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse motorsports division.

This includes the company’s Iron Lynx motor racing team and its newly debuted Lamborghini SC63 Model LMDH hypercar prototype. A licensed digital recreation of the Lamborghini SC63 race car will also be available for players of the CSR-2 mobile game.

Prior to this new ongoing partnership, Lamborghini had licensed the likeness of over 30 of its luxury race car models to the CSR-2 mobile game.

“We’re excited to celebrate Automobili Lamborghini’s entry into hypercar GTP class racing with CSR Racing’s first official, multi-year partnership encompassing both in-game and real-world activations with a top-tier automotive brand,” said NaturalMotion SVP, Julian Widdows. “Racing fans across the world can now merge their passion for racing games with their love for the sport as they cheer on Squadra Corse on the track while racing the same car in CSR2.”

Lamborghini plans to enter its new SC63 hypercar in twelve different races across the FIA and IMSA championships in 2024.

This will include entry in prestigious global racing championships such as the FIA WEC Hypercar Class, the IMSA Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) Class and the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance competition.

“We are thrilled to expand our long-term partnership with CSR Racing, given Zynga’s place as a global player at the forefront of the gaming world,” said Lamborghini MD, Christian Mastro. “CSR2 embodies world-class excellence, flawless design, and detailed execution, and we are confident that this will allow us to enlarge our continually expanding fanbase as we embark on the most exciting year in the history of Lamborghini Squadra Corse. We trust that the Lamborghini SC63 will be an important model of CSR2, following the success of some of our most famous super sports cars, such as the Aventador and Huracán,” said Mastro. “Thanks to the SC63, we have the unique opportunity to give gamers around the world the chance to compete with our brand-new racing prototype.”

The CSR2 racing game is available to download for free on both the App Store and Google Play for mobile devices.

Zynga is a global interactive entertainment publishing label and wholly-owned subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software.
