Laura Ashley and Gecko Jewellery Partner for Heritage Collection

November 2, 2024

By Allison Watkinson

TLL Reporter

The Laura Ashley brand has partnered with Gecko Jewellery for a licensed collection based on heritage designs from the Laura Ashley archive.

Developed by Gecko Jewellery’s in-house design team, the Laura Ashley jewellery collection features three distinct product lines that offer a diverse range of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings inspired by the brand’s heritage prints.

“It’s truly inspiring to see how the jewellery designers have drawn from the iconic patterns that originated at a kitchen table in Pimlico over 70 years ago, and transformed them into a collection that seamlessly blends modern sophistication with timeless elegance,” said Laura Ashley VP, Poppy Marshall-Lawton. “We’re excited to see this collection launch, adding the perfect finishing touch to both our women’s and girls’ wear lines.”

The three product lines within the Laura Ashley x Gecko Jewellery collection are titled Camelot, Bows and Wild Meadows.

The Camelot collection includes six pieces that take inspiration from botanical elements found in Laura Ashley’s archival Camelot prints.

Designed for everyday luxury, the jewellery items in the Camelot collection include a bracelet, a necklace and earrings in a mix of gold and silver tones.

The Laura Ashley Bows range is designed to emulate the popular 2024 trend of fashionable bow accessories.

The items in the Bows collection are available in both adult and children’s sizes to pair well with Laura Ashley’s Mummy and Me clothing ranges.

Inspired by the Laura Ashley brand’s Wild Meadows print, the Wild Meadows jewellery line incorporates design elements such as independently moving pieces and light-catching precious stones for functional day-to-night styling.

The items featured in the Laura Ashley collection were crafted in line with Gecko Jewellery’s ongoing commitment to ethical and sustainably-sourced materials and environmental business practices.

In addition, all of the jewellery created by Gecko is covered by the AnchorCert Protect program that certifies that every piece is free from metallic elements that are known to cause allergic reactions.

An accredited member of the Responsible Jewellery Council, Gecko Jewellery is a UK-based wholesale company that offers brand owners a wide range of services such as jewellery design, manufacturing, distribution, marketing and more.

The partnership with Gecko Jewellery was facilitated by Laura Ashley’s licensing representative IMG.

First established in 1953, Laura Ashley is a British heritage lifestyle brand that offers a range of products across home furnishings, décor, fashion and hospitality experiences.

The Gordon Brothers global advisory and investment firm acquired the global rights to the Laura Ashley brand, archives and related intellectual property in 2020.
