Murf Electric Bikes has partnered with Kona Big Wave for a limited-edition Kona Big Wave-inspired electonic bike.
The co-branded electric bike is a Murf Higgs Step-Thru model that is painted in the official Kona Blue Wave color and decorated with a colorful Hawaiian flowers pattern, whitewall tires and a lockable storage crate.
Other key features of the Kona Big Wave Murf Electric Bike include all-terrain tires, five pedal assist levels, hydraulic disc brakes, and an integrated off-road headlight.
“Our partnership with Kona Big Wave perfectly captures the essence of the beach lifestyle,” said Murf Electric Bikes CEO, Josh Jones. “We are excited to offer this unique opportunity to really showcase our bikes, and are confident that this partnership has allowed for our best custom design yet.”
The limited-edition Murf x Kona bike first hit retail on July 10, 2024 and will available for purchase while supplies last at grocery and specialty stores across the United States.
The licensing partnership between the two brands also includes several promotional give-aways through nationwide retail stores, as well as the companies dedicated social media channels and official websites.
One of the giveaway promotions for the licensing collab is an official Sweepstakes event that customers can enter for a chance to win a custom Kona bike from Murf Electric Bikes.
The custom e-bikes will be exhibited alongside Kona Big Wave displays in over 170 grocery stores nationwide, as well as at a variety of summer events in coastal communities across the country.
Kona Big Wave is a premium Hawaii-based beer and liquor brand that was first founded in 1994.
Owned by Anheuser-Busch, Kona Big Wave currently offers its premium products across the mainland U.S. and more than 30 countries worldwide.
