Omens Studios Announces New Content For Its Leo the Wildlife Ranger Gaming App

October 30, 2023

By Allison Watkinson

Omens Studios is expanding its Leo the Wildlife Ranger gaming app with new modules based on the 3D animated adventure series.
“Leo the Wildlife Ranger has become a much-loved property with audiences all over the world, who are connecting with the characters in a range of different ways—including through broadcasting, the games app and our exclusive kid-friendly VR content on YouTube,” said Omens Studios CEO, Chi Sim Tang. “We are continuing to expand the offering for our fans, and we’re delighted to welcome new premium broadcast partners on board, including AMC International Networks, to bring the action-packed adventures of our wildlife rangers to new audiences.”
Omens Studios developed and launched the licensed gaming app earlier this year and is now rolling out three additional modules and a Spanish language version in Q4 2023.
The Leo the Wildlife Ranger app features child-friendly mini-games with themes such as memory, mazes, coloring, puzzles, stories and more.
The upcoming modules will include new in-app games called Balance the Bridge, Storybook and Animal Clinic.
Balance the Bridge intends to teach children about the basic principles of physics using characters and locations from the Leo the Wildlife Ranger IP.
The upcoming Storybook module will offer an interactive choice-based Leo the Wildlife Ranger game experience.
Animal Clinic is designed to encourage interest in veterinary science through a Wildlife Ranger-themed game that allows players to treat wounds, cure infections and clean dirt off animals.
The new Spanish language version of the game will also include Spanish episodes of Leo the Wildlife Ranger, with the same monthly updates and additions to the catalogue that are seen in the English version of the app.
The Leo the Wildlife Ranger Kids Games app is supported across iOS and Android phone and tablet devices and is available worldwide through both the Apple and Google app stores.
The expansion to the licensed gaming app coincides with new broadcasting and distribution deals for Omens Studios’ Leo the Wildlife Ranger children’s series.
AMC International Networks recently acquired season one of the series for distribution in the Middle East and Africa, in addition to season two for distribution across Europe.
Other recent distribution agreements for Leo the Wildlife Ranger include TRT in Turkey, FairFax County Schools Districts in the US, and a renewed season one deal with Common Sense Media.
Leo the Wildlife Ranger was initially commissioned by Singapore’s national public broadcaster MediaCorp and is currently available in over 50 territories worldwide.
The animated series is intended to provide young children with zoology facts, environmental awareness and information on nature conservation.
The series follows two junior rangers named Leo and Katie and their dog Hero as they learn more about animals and plants.
Omens Studios is an animation studio that creates animation and interactive media for broadcasters and digital platforms.
With offices in the U.K., Singapore and Malaysia, Omens Studios works with creative talent to produce family-friendly content for children across the globe.
