Ono Hawaiian BBQ and Walt Disney Animation Studios have launched a collaborative partnership for a new Moana 2 Ono Keiki meal.
Founded in 2002, Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a casual restaurant known for its Hawaiian cuisine-inspired dishes that are prepared from scratch daily and grilled to order.
The licensing promotion between Ono Hawaiian BBQ and Walt Disney Animation Studios will offer a limited-edition Moana 2 reusable lunch bag with each purchase of an Ono Keiki meal.
The reusable lunch bags will be available in three collectible designs inspired by Disney’s upcoming animated film, Moana 2.
Hitting theaters on November 27, 2024, Moana 2 takes place three years after the events of the original film and follows Moana and Maui as they voyage to the far seas of Oceania on an epic adventure.
“We are incredibly excited to pair our new Keiki Meal with the release of Moana 2,” said Ono Hawaiian BBQ director, Christine Jan. “Additionally, our partnership with Kids LiveWell demonstrates that we provide nutritious, freshly-prepared meal options that parents can feel good about.”
The promotional partnership with Walt Disney Animation Studios coincides with the recent debut of Ono Hawaiian BBQ’s redesigned Ono Keiki Meal.
Certified by the Kids LiveWell Association for its well-balanced nutritional content, the Ono Keiki Meal includes a choice of one made-to-order protein, a scoop of rice, steamed vegetables, a Tree Top 100% apple juice box, and a Tree Top triple berry apple sauce pouch.
“Ono Hawaiian BBQ’s commitment to offering healthier meal options for families sets an inspiring example for our industry,” said National Restaurant Association SVP, Sue Hensley. “Together, we are making a significant impact by expanding dining choices for families nationwide.”
The Moana 2 x Ono Keiko meals will be available for a limited time at all Ono Hawaiian BBQ restaurant locations beginning on November 13, 2024.
