G Mason Group Partners with Banana Boat Sunscreen to Launch Gear and Suncare Products for Pets
Banana Boat, one of the world’s leading sunscreen makers, is now working on a line of sun care and outdoor gear products for dogs and other pets.
Edgewell Personal Care, a leading consumer products company and owners of Banana Boat, announced it has selected G Mason Group to develop and market the collection. The licensed product line will be available at retailers in summer 2022 and will feature sunscreen, paw and nose balm, after-sun mist, apparel, rash guards, harnesses, collars, cooling mats/beds, outdoor accessories and toys.

Household pet ownership continues to increase, reaching an all-time high of 70% in 2020, further boosted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As pet ownership grows, spending on pet products has increased by 11% in the last year. People increasingly treat pets as members of the family, traveling with pets and bringing them on outdoor excursions. Americans have also averaged three more hours spent outside weekly than pre-pandemic, meaning pets have spent more time in the sun with their families.
