The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) has released new details for the 2025 editions of its three concurrent toy industry trade fairs.

The three upcoming HKTDC trade fairs include the 51st Hong Kong Toys & Games fair, the 16th Hong Kong Baby Products fair and the 23rd Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies fair.

Sharing an overarching theme titled ‘New Play for All’, the concurrent events will run from January 6 to 9 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The three concurrent fairs are expected to welcome more than 2,500 global exhibitors and will showcase a diverse selection of smart toys, baby products and stationery for all ages.

For the Hong Kong Toys & Games fair, HKTDC has announced several new and returning presentations and pavilions that will feature programs and exhibits from various domestic and international retail markets.

The returning exhibitor pavilions will include the Brand Name Gallery, Mainland China, Taiwan, Kidult World, Korea, HKBTA (Hong Kong Brand Toy Association), Smart-Tech Toys & Games, Green Toys and World of Toys.

For its presentation events, the toy industry forum will once again include a series of informative presentations that cover topics like toy safety regulations, inclusivity in toys, gender perspectives and sustainability.

The 2025 program will also include a presentation that centers on the theme Fostering Social Responsibility in the Toy Industry.

This presentation will cover topics such as the toy industry’s evolving role in healthcare, its impact on social connectedness and the importance of play for active aging.

Another new addition for 2025 will be the ESG Pavilion, which will aim to provide attendees with increased awareness of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) practices.

The Asian Toys & Games Forum will also return for the event to offer research and analysis on market and industry trends across a wide range of targets.

The co-occurring Hong Kong Baby Products fair will welcome exhibitors to pavilions from Korea, Europe and the Hong Kong Children, Babies & Maternity Industries Association.

These pavilions will showcase a wide range of infant-related products to potential buyers such as strollers, furniture, bedding, health, clothing, maternity and more.

Organized by the HKTDC and Messe Frankfurt (HK), the International Stationery & School Supplies fair will assemble major players in the stationery sector for products related to school supplies, creative arts, office supplies, paper, printing products, writing instruments and gifts stationery.

The three concurrent fairs will provide abundant opportunities for trading, networking, licensing partnerships and crossover business activities for participants from across various sectors.

Under the EXHIBITION+ hybrid model, exhibitors and buyers will be able to meet online through the Click2Match business matching platform until January 16, 2025 in addition to attending the in-person fair.

Buyers can also use the Scan2Match feature of the HKTDC Marketplace App to scan the QR codes of exhibitors and view product materials, event information, floor plans and much more.
