Reebok and Hasbro are launching a licensed children’s footwear collection inspired by the My Little Pony entertainment brand.
Created as a toy line in 1983, Hasbro’s My Little Pony brand has expanded into a multi-platform entertainment franchise that includes a wide array of animated content, games, toys, licensed consumer products, published works, music, digital gaming, live experiences and more.
The Reebok x Hasbro footwear collection includes four distinct styles of Reebok’s Classic Leather Step N Flash shoe inspired by licensed My Little Pony characters.
Designed by the Reebok Design Group (RDG), all four of the footwear styles feature details and colors that are associated with different main characters from the 2021 Netflix film, My Little Pony: A New Generation.
A division of SPARC Group, RDG provides design, development, marketing and creative services for Reebok’s global network of licensing and distribution partners.
The My Little Pony branded characters included in the collection are Zipp Storm, Sunny Starscout, Pipp Petals and Izzy Moonbow.
The Zipp Storm shoe style includes custom wing eyestay accents and thunderbolt detailing.
The Sunny Starscout style features the skate logo mark on the shoe’s heel tab and star embellishments on the toe.
Princess Pipp Petals shoe design includes pink and purple coloring, musical notes along the side of the shoe and music icons on the heel tab.
The Izzy Moonbow colorway includes glitter laces, sparkle accents along the side and sparkle markings on the heel tab.
All four of the Reebok designs include a translucent outsole with the featured character’s name, My Little Pony cutie marks on the heel tabs and an impact-activated light-up heel clip.
The Reebok x My Little Pony collection will be available for purchase in a range of toddler and preschool shoe sizes through the official Reebok e-commerce website and online shoe retail platform, Journeys.com, beginning on Feb. 16.
This collaborative My Little Pony footwear line follows several other Reebok branded capsule collections inspired by Hasbro-owned franchises such as Power Rangers and Peppa Pig.
