Live entertainment specialist RWS Global has revealed its latest steps for global growth with the opening of new offices in Shanghai and Orlando.

These expansions underscore the company’s commitment to revolutionizing the location-based entertainment industry and strengthening its presence in Asia and beyond, the company says.

The Shanghai headquarters will serve as a hub for RWS Global’s comprehensive suite of professional services, including master planning, design, build, and operations for clients in cruise, theater, and sports sectors. RWS already has a number of projects built in China, including Nickelodeon Playtime seen in the photo at top, and the Lao Niu Children’s Discovery Museum, below.

This move is bolstered by a strategic partnership with Max-Matching Entertainments, a leading Chinese entertainment developer known for its collaborations with global brands like Hasbro, Mattel, and Crayola. The partnership aims to deliver groundbreaking experiences in China, including family entertainment centers, themed experiences, and more.

Veronica Hart Joins as Chief Growth Officer
RWS Global has also appointed Veronica Hart, a former Paramount executive, as its new Chief Growth Officer.

Hart brings over two decades of expertise in franchise planning, licensing, and brand strategy from her leadership roles at companies such as Paramount, Sesame Workshop, and CBS Studios. In her new role, she will spearhead global marketing and business strategies, driving growth across RWS Global’s expanding markets.

“RWS Global is committed to creating unforgettable live moments worldwide,” said Ryan Stana, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of RWS Global. “With Veronica’s unparalleled expertise and the opening of our Shanghai headquarters, we’re poised to deliver even more transformative entertainment experiences.”

Hart expressed her excitement about joining the team, saying, “RWS Global has always been at the forefront of innovation in live entertainment. I look forward to elevating our offerings for talent, brands, clients, and audiences worldwide.”

A Partnership to Transform Entertainment in China
The company says its alliance with Max-Matching Entertainments positions RWS Global to deliver immersive content to projects like Top Park, Asia’s largest international IP-themed family entertainment center cluster. This includes attractions such as PEPPA PIG Ice World, the first Crayola Experience outside the U.S., and themed experiences for brands like Hasbro and WildBrain.

“This partnership combines RWS Global’s innovation with our expertise in the Chinese market, promising unique and memorable experiences for audiences,” said Owen Zhao, the founder and President of Max-Matching Entertainments

RWS currently has offices in New York, London, Cincinnati, Sydney, and now Shanghai and OrlandoSupported by its state-of-the-art studios in NYC and the UK, the company produces over one million live moments daily, serving clients like Apple, Disney, and the Invictus Games.
