Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Shaliquinn’s Schematics have launched an official Dr Seuss DLC for the Minecraft video game.
Created by Shaliquinn’s Schematics, the officially licensed Minecraft DLC features three distinct levels that include a variety of characters, settings and story inspiration from classic Dr Seuss properties like The Lorax, The Cat in the Hat and Oh The Places You’ll Go!.
The first level in the Dr. Seuss DLC offers Minecraft players a quirky escape room adventure based on The Lorax.
The Lorax level starts players in an enchanted Truffula tree forest biome to solve a mystery that leads them to the Once-ler’s house and the Biggered Factory.
The second DLC level is based on Dr. Seuss’ classic tale, Cat in the Hat, and the new level level is a narrated puzzle game featuring an adventure that allows players to follow the Cat through a whimsical house setting and interact with other characters such as Thing One and Thing Two.
The final level of the Minecraft x Dr. Seuss DLC is inspired by the classic story, Oh the Places You’ll Go!. This level spawns players into an expansive, maze-like environment that features riddles, obstructions, scenes and settings based on the Oh the Places You’ll Go! story.
As well as the Dr. Seuss DLC game, the Dr. Seuss x Minecraft collaboration includes a free Cat in the Hat bow tie that can be used as a Minecraft Character Creator item.
The Dr. Seuss DLC by Shaliquinn’s Schematics can be purchased by Minecraft players through the official Minecraft Marketplace.
