Skechers has partered with professional football player Harry Kane for the brand’s first licensed Player Edition boot.
“Harry Kane was the first elite player to wear Skechers Football boots and helped launch our football business, so it was always clear that our first Player Edition design would feature his signature,” said Skechers Performance VP, Greg Smith. “More than just a celebration of Harry’s athleticism and performance on the pitch, we’re recognizing his ability to inspire the next generation of athletes around the globe,” added Smith. “Anyone at any age can lace up in this boot and work hard to make their dreams a reality all with the amazing comfort that only Skechers offers.”
Featuring Harry’s signature and embossed HK initials, the boot is designed in red and white colors as a nod to Harry’s current football clubs, England and Bayern Munich.
The licensed boot also features gold detailing on the soleplate and plus symbols to celebrate the star player’s 2024 European Golden Boot award.
Thirty-six of the plus symbols are in gold to recognize the number of goals that he scored during his debut season with Bayern Munich that earned him the Bundesliga’s Top Goal Scorer Prize.
This launch of the licensed SKX_1.5 Elite model boots is accompanied by a coordinated Skechers x Harry Kane apparel collection that will release alongside the Player Edition boot in the European market.
Developed closely with the athlete, the apparel collection includes a striker tee, shorts, a graphic t-shirt, off-pitch shorts and a track top.
“It’s been my dream since childhood to have my own signature boot,” said Kane. “I worked with the team at Skechers to make it personal, to make it a piece of my story. Every detail reflects what motivates me as a player—always wanting to improve and working hard to gain those pluses, those small percentages every day. I’m excited to share these boots. I hope people love them, feel confident when wearing them and appreciate the features that make these boots truly mine,” added Kane. “Skechers Football has really delivered on comfort, too.”
Available in both Academy and Youth versions, the Harry Kane x Skechers Football collection is available for purchase through the company’s e-commerce websites, select store locations and specialty retailers around the world.
