VP Racing Fuels and Speed Society are releasing a licensed streetwear collection called The Racing Class.
The licensing agreement between the two company’s was brokered by Pacific Swell Brands, the exclusive licensing agent of VP Racing. Pacific Swell is a boutique licensing agency that is known for extending brands into new consumer product categories and markets to grow licensing revenue and brand equity.
“It has been an exciting process to work with Speed Society and see the VP Racing brand translated into streetwear that is both trendy and evergreen,” said Vivian Velasco, President of Pacific Swell Brands.
VP Racing Fuels Inc. is an American manufacturer of racing fuel and motorsports products. The company specializes in performance chemicals, traction compounds, moto-wash, and fuel for both land and sea vehicles. VP Racing Fuels also sells a line of consumer products through national home improvement retailers, automotive parts retailers, and e-commerce websites.
“Not only is this an exciting extension of our fuel partnership with Speed Society, but it also shows VP Racing’s commitment to everyone in The Racing Class since 1975,” said Bob Merz, Director of Brand Management and Licensing at VP. “We look forward to our continued partnership.”
The initial two streetwear capsule collections are called Chasing Checkers and Pilot. The collections include hoodies, t-shirts, and hats adorned with racing inspired graphics. The co-branded streetwear collections are available exclusively on the Speed Society website.
