Studio 100 Media has acquired a stake in 3Doubles Producciones as part of its European expansion strategy.
Founded in 2017, 3Doubles Producciones is an entertainment company that specializes in the production and development of 2D and 3D animated films and TV series.
The company currently employs over a hundred people at its headquarters in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Prior to the acquisition, Studio 100 Media and 3Doubles had successfully collaborated on several animated projects such as the feature film Giants of La Mancha and Mia and Me: The Hero of Centopia.
“This acquisition is an important next step for the expansion of Studio 100 Media’s European slate of animated series and movies,” said Studio 100 Media CEO, Martin Krieger. “It will further strengthen our close cooperation with LA-based Viva Kids, who also acquired a stake in 3Doubles earlier this year. We are thrilled to work with such exceptional partners and to be part of a major force in creating and distributing innovative content for the international market.”
Viva Kids is an American film production studio and rights distribution company.
The company has led the production and distribution of animated and live-action movies through both theatrical release and major streaming platforms.
Viva Kids has held major leadership roles in the production of films such as Rally Road Racers, 100% WOLF, and R.L. Stine’s Zombie Town.
Viva Kids, Studio 100 and 3Doubles Producciones intend to collaborate on the production and distribution of new animated movies and TV series going forward.
Studio 100 Media will be responsible for the international distribution of the new collaborative projects and Viva Pictures will handle the North American distribution.

The company’s portfolio includes brands such as Maya the Bee, Mia and Me, Heidi, Vic the Viking, and 100% Wolf.
