Tapatío and Flock Foods Rule the Roost with Spicy Chicken Skins

Tapatío has launched a licensing partnership with Flock Foods for a hot new snack called Tapatío Spicy Chicken Skins.

The licensed snack food is designed to combine the signature heat and flavor of Tapatío hot sauce with Flock Foods’ high-protein crunchy chicken skins.

“We are honored to partner with such a legendary brand as Tapatío,” said Flock Foods chief operating officer, Jake Drwal. “Their loyal following and iconic flavor elevate our chicken skins to new heights. This collaboration has allowed us to create a snack that combines the best of both brands—a bold, unique, and absolutely delicious product that we know consumers will love.”

Founded by Jose Luis Saavedra in 1971, Tapatió Foods is a family-owned company that produces branded hot sauce with a distinct flavor profile inspired by Latin American cuisine.

Since its initial creation, Tapatió has grown to become the top-selling hot sauce brand in California, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Colorado and the West Coast.

“At Tapatío, we are always looking for opportunities to work with like-minded brands that share our passion for bold, authentic flavors,” said Tapatío director, Roche McCoy. “Flock Foods is a perfect partner for us, and their crispy chicken skins are the ideal vessel for our signature heat.”

Based in Los Angeles, Flock Foods is a snack food company that specializes in crunchy, high-protein products created from ethically-sourced meat.

Part of the Upcycled Certified Program, Flock Foods products are made from upcycled chicken that is exclusively sourced from farmers and suppliers who adhere to strict standards of animal welfare.

“We’re excited to offer this incredible new snack to our loyal fans while introducing the Tapatío name to even more consumers,” said McCoy. “Both Tapatío and Flock Foods are rooted in Los Angeles, and it’s been a pleasure collaborating with their amazing team to bring this product to life.”

The collaborative partnership with Flock Foods was brokered on behalf of Tapatío by its exclusive licensing agency, Brand Central.

Since joining Brand Central’s client roster, Tapatió has expanded its reach with an extensive range of licensed products across seasonings, snacks, meals, apparel, condiments and more.

Tapatío Spicy Chicken Skins are now available for purchase through Flock Foods dedicated e-commerce website, Sprouts Farmers Market and select retailers throughout the U.S.
