The Knot Worldwide Welcomes Simply Eloped Into Its Portfolio of Brands

The Knot Worldwide has announced the acquisition of Simply Eloped, an online platform specializing in elopements and micro-weddings in the United States.
Per the terms of the agreement, Simply Eloped has joined The Knot Worldwide’s portfolio of brands, alongside many of its employees and its founder.
Simply Eloped will continue to function as an independent brand within The Knot Worldwide’s holding portfolio.
“We were excited when the Simply Eloped team proposed the idea of an acquisition to join our family of brands, as we have long admired the business,” said The Knot Worldwide CEO, Tim Chi. “We strive to be the go-to platform for all couples, no matter their wedding size, style, budget or location. Today’s microwedding and elopement couples are increasingly seeking to personalize their celebrations. We are combining forces with Simply Eloped to provide these couples the end-to-end support and talented vendor network they need to make their dreams a reality, while introducing new business opportunities for vendors.”
Simply Eloped is a wedding company that aims to deliver a customizable and streamlined micro-wedding and elopement process through its nationwide network of venders and its dedicated online booking platform.
The company’s network includes more than 750 wedding professionals that are then sourced and matched with its clients.
The company’s elopement packages allow up to 15 guests, while the micro-wedding packages can include up to 50 people. Simply Eloped currently offers its services in 30 destinations across the country.

The Knot Worldwide is a global company that operates in more than 16 countries worldwide.
One of its central offerings is a global online wedding marketplace, that connects couples with local wedding professionals, as well as an extensive  range of personalized wedding websites, planning tools, invitations and registry services 
The company’s wedding planning services are offered through its portfolio of global wedding brands including The Knot, WeddingWire, Bodas,  Hitched, and Matrimonio.
“With The Knot Worldwide’s support, we can now reach even more couples and offer our personalized approach to wedding planning on a larger scale.” said White. “I’m confident that together with The Knot Worldwide, we’ll continue to innovate and provide couples with unforgettable wedding experiences.”
The Knot Worldwide was created following the closure of a merger agreement between the XO Group and WeddingWire that took place in 2019.
In additional to its commercial wedding services, the Knot Worldwide launched a charitable branch called Fellowship for Change in 2021 that provides annual education, mentorship and free advertising support to professional wedding start-ups in their first five years of business.
