The Point.1888 Signs Four Dozen New Licensees for Moonbug

The Point.1888 and its EMEA sub agents have signed 48 new licensee deals for Moonbug Entertainment’s popular brands Blippi, CoComelon, and Morphle.

Founded in 2018, Moonbug Entertainment’s programming is now distributed on more than 100 platforms in 26 languages around the world. The company is known for creating, producing and publishing quality children’s and family entertainment.

“We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with so many licensees for Blippi, CoComelon and Morphle,” said Bethan Garton, Chief Commercial Officer at The Point.1888.

“With the consistent growth and popularity, the brands have experienced over the past year, this is the perfect time for new products to launch in market. We’ve worked extremely hard to ensure the brands have the right partners to deliver product that provide as much fun as the brands do.”

The Point.1888 is a brand licensing agency that helps clients boost revenue, brand awareness, and consumer engagement. The Point.1888 is a fifth-generation family company with 130 years’ experience in bringing products to market.

The Point.1888 has leveraged Blippi, CoComelon and Morphle’s popularity through the development of a licensed consumer products program across EMEA.

The licensing agency succeeded in this development with the help of its sub agents Brand Energy, CLM, El Ocho, ELC, Evolution of Licensing, Ferly, LDI, Lisans, Partner Plus and Spacetoons.

Blippi is currently available on demand via the streaming sites Netflix and HBO Max. Blippi Wonders has also been added to both platforms. Blippi’s Treehouse launched on Amazon Kids+ last December, and a companion show about Blippi’s best friend Meekah also launched on YouTube last fall.

The popular brand Morphle has recently launched on Tiny Pop. It has seen significant success on the release of its clothing line on Character.com and the Character Options toy release prior to Christmas.

CoComelon has received recognition for its consumer products programme, having won ‘Pre-School Toy of the Year’ at the 2021 Toy Industry Awards. CoComelon is the most-watched global kids brand on YouTube.
