Spin Master has signed The Point.1888 as its UK licensing agent for the children’s fantasy franchise Unicorn Academy.
The appointment of The Point.1888 follows the news of Spin Master’s upcoming Unicorn Academy Netflix series, toy collection, digital game, publishing line and consumer products program.
“Unicorn Academy is a unique and magical experience and we are delighted with the creative and strategic approach The Point.1888 has brought to the planning,” said Spin Master SVP, Andre Lake Mayer. “We are certain these concepts can be transformed into an inspiring reality for kids, through apparel, accessories, gifts, health & beauty, stationery, home, consumer electronics, activities and more. With their expertise on our side, we’re ready to dazzle this next generation together.”
The Point.1888 is a retail-focused brand extension agency that specializes in matching brands with retailers and manufacturers to create relevant consumer product collections. The agency is currently seeking licensing partners for the Unicorn Academy franchise across numerous product categories for the UK region.

The Unicorn Academy franchise follows a girl named Sophia and her classmates as they work to bond with a unicorn to unlock magical powers and protect Unicorn Island. Spin Master’s upcoming animated Unicorn Academy series is adapted from a series of novels written by Julie Sykes and published by Nosy Crow.
Unicorn Academy is scheduled for release on the Netflix streaming platform in November 2023 and the full range of Spin Master toys will hit retail in 2024.
