Toikido Taps Eolo Toys as Global Master Toy Partner for Bad Egg Franchise

July 22, 2025

Toikido has appointed Eolo Toys as the global master toy partner for its breakout franchise Bad Egg Co.

The deal marks the latest milestone in the expansion of Toikido’s irreverent, cross-platform brand, which began as a Web3 IP and is now growing into a global entertainment force.

Launched in June 2024 with a sell-out NFT collection of 1,500 pieces, Bad Egg Co. quickly attracted a loyal international fanbase through its fusion of digital collectibles, character-driven storytelling, and community engagement. The franchise now includes digital trading cards, games, fashion, and an upcoming animated series, all fueled by Bad Egg’s ethos of rebellion and creative freedom.

The toy line developed by Eolo Toys is set to debut in 2026. Specific products remain under wraps, but the companies promise a bold, collectible-led range designed to bring the Bad Egg Co. universe to life for fans of all ages and regions.

“Bad Egg Co. has always been about turning up the volume on what a modern franchise can be; bold, subversive, and fan-fueled,” said Darran Garnham, CEO and Founder of Toikido. “Eolo gets that completely. Their ability to translate characters into high-impact products makes them the perfect partner to help us scale Bad Egg toys across the globe.”

This marks the second major collaboration between Toikido and Eolo Toys, following a previous multi-IP rollout. For Eolo, the partnership aligns with its strategy of supporting distinctive, globally scalable brands.

“We love brands that break the mold, and Bad Egg Co. does exactly that,” said Alex Prieto, CEO of Eolo Toys. “It’s rich in character, bursting with attitude, and has huge potential at retail. We’re excited to continue our collaboration with Toikido and deliver something genuinely different to the market.”

Founded in 1978, Eolo Toys began as a kite manufacturer in Europe and has evolved into a leading global toy innovator. Known for its creativity, quality, and strong international distribution, Eolo has partnered with major entertainment brands, like Disney and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, to bring unique play experiences to children worldwide.

Toikido, meanwhile, continues to position itself at the forefront of the next-generation entertainment space. The company focuses on creating original intellectual properties that connect digital culture with physical products, aiming to delight young audiences and empower creators alike.

With the Eolo partnership, Bad Egg Co. adds another layer to its cross-media approach—one that further blurs the lines between physical play, digital engagement, and storytelling. As the toy line readies for its 2026 debut, both companies are betting on Bad Egg Co. to crack open a new era of franchise innovation.
