The first ever Nordic Brand Licensing Market (NBLM) launches Nov. 28–29th in Helsinki. The first licensing event of its kind in Finland will boast 20 Nordic brands in games, design, animation, film, TV, music, publishing, and lifestyle; main partners of the event are Rovio, Finlayson, and Moomin Characters.
The HKTDC InnoDesignTech Expo is running from Dec. 1–3rd in Hong Kong to cover innovative designs and technologies. Over 11,000 visitors from 68 countries will visit 432 exhibitors.

The Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show visits Las Vegas on Jan. 17–19th. Exhibitors include professional, collegiate, and other sports teams and represent all product categories.
Maison&Objet Paris takes place Jan. 20–24th. The show covers interior decoration, design, furniture, accessories, textiles, fragrances, the world of children, and tableware.
Spielwarenmesse Intl. Toy Fair takes place in Nuremberg on Feb. 1–6th. Over 2,800 exhibitors from 60+ countries will host 70,000 visitors from 120 countries.
TLL is covering the North American Intl. Toy Fair in New York on Feb. 18–21st. Note that the dates for Play Fair have changed; the sister show for consumers, the public, and “supervised children,” is now scheduled for Nov. 4–5th, 2017.

The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo lands Apr. 21–23st, spanning the worlds of comics, movies, television, toys, anime, manga, and video games.
Licensing Expo Japan will have its inaugural show on Apr. 26–28th in Tokyo. Brands represented include Angel Blue, Candy Crush Saga, Cherokee Global Brands, Chevrolet, Corvette, Cynthia Rowley, Everyday California, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Haori, K-Factory, Keith Haring, Live Nation Merchandise, Modern Capsule, Super Lovers, and The Walking Dead.
The National Stationery Show lands May 20-23th in New York to play host to all things paper—from greeting cards, custom invitations, gift wrap and journals, to lifestyle gifts.
SURTEX comes to New York on May 21–23rd. The sourcing event covers artwork for textile fabrics, apparel and contract textiles, as well as wall and floor coverings.
