Jazwares Extends Fortnite Licensing Deal

Jazwares, a global leader in toys and licensing, today announced its partnership with Epic Games for Fortnite toys and collectibles has been extended through 2025, in a deal brokered by IMG. Starting in January 2022, Jazwares will be the exclusive toy partner for Fortnite action figures four-inches-high and under and their compatible vehicles, play sets, accessories and more. Jazwares will also continue to produce new remote control or R/C vehicles, all of which will be compatible with Jazwares’ full four inch action figure line, and plush toys in varying sizes. Random House Signs LEGO Book Deal

Random House has signed a deal that will see a major expansion of book titles being published and distributed globally for toy giant LEGO. Under the agreement, Random House Children’s Books will partner with AMEET Publishing, LEGO Publishing’s worldwide strategic partner, to expand the LEGO Books business, said Chris Angelilli, VP & Editor-in-Chief of Licensed Publishing, Random House Books for Young Readers. Massive Campaign Marks Wonder Woman 80th Anniversary

Cardi B Releases Doll, Then Deactivates Her Twitter Account

By Gary Symons TLL Editor in Chief The famous and sometimes infamous rapper Cardi B has released her own limited edition fashion doll, and within three minutes the doll had sold out, and Cardi B deactivated her Twitter account after a spat with fans. The release of the Cardi B doll was timed to coincide with Women’s History Month, and was put out through the newly formed enterprise Real Women Are, “a new diverse and inclusive doll brand.” The good news for Cardi B and Real Women Are is that the 10,000 copies of the limited release doll sold out within minutes. Breitling Creates New Collector Watch With RAF

The acclaimed Swiss luxury watchmaker Breitling, best known as the world’s leading supplier of aviation watches, has just released a watch inspired by the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, better known as the Red Arrows. LEGO Takes Kids to the Hundred Acre Wood

LEGO this week launched a superb new product for fans of the Winnie the Pooh books to embrace their nostalgia with a Hundred Acre Wood play set. The set came to life from the mind of super fan Ben Alder who collaborated on the design through the LEGO Ideas program, and was made possible through a licensing partnership with brand owner Disney.
