Bradford Promoted to New Role at Poetic Brands

Licensing veteran Anne Bradford has been promoted to the position of Commercial Director at Poetic Brands, after building out the company’s children’s and baby wear division. Bradford joined the company in September of 2019 with a brief to build out the new division, and saw notable success over the ensuing 18 months, despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic. By the end of 2020 Poetic Brands had signed on several licensing partners, including The Baby Club, Brambly Hedge, Gigantosaurus, the Early Learning Centre, and Tiny Tatty Teddy. This year, in the first two months of 2021, Poetic expanded its kids and baby portfolio with a deal for three of Moonbug Entertainment’s brands, those being CoComelon, Blippi, and Morphle. Poetic Brands Gets Artsy With Britain’s National Gallery

In response to a growing interest in art in the licensed fashion sector, specialist apparel licensee Poetic Brands has teamed up with Britain’s National Gallery, which houses one of the greatest collections of paintings in the world, to create a range of adult apparel and accessories based on its impressive and extensive artworks. The collection will incorporate a wide range of products including adult daywear apparel and outerwear, swimwear, flip flops, beach bags and towels, adult nightwear and essentials, and accessories including caps and luggage.  The National Gallery in London, England, was founded in 1824 and houses more than 2,600 paintings from the late 13th to the early 20th century in Trafalgar Square. Poetic Brands Launches Baby Line With Brambly Hedge

Poetic Brands is creating a line of baby clothing and accessories based on the Brambly Hedge children’s books by Jill Barklem. Poetic signed the deal this week with Rockpool Licensing, which manages the Brambly Hedge intellectual property worldwide. Under the agreement, Poetic plans to produce a new collection including layette and fashion daywear, nightwear, snow suits sleeping bags, accessories and changing bags inspired by the adventures of the iconic community of mice in the idyllic English countryside. Brambly Hedge joins a number of prestigious new children’s partners for Poetic Brands, as the licensee establishes its new Baby, Children’s Wear and Accessories division.
