Well Woven has launched a new collection of licensed Care Bears rugs in collaboration with Cloudco Entertainment.
Cloudco Entertainment is a family entertainment company and the owner of brands such as Care Bears, Holly Hobbie, Madballs, and more.
Cloudco Entertainment creates, develops, and produces multi-platform entertainment franchises across all media channels. Cloudco also creates a wide-range of consumer merchandising programs and experiences based on the company’s entertainment properties.
The Care Bears brand was originally introduced in 1982 through consumer products, greeting cards, and later a series of animated television shows and feature films.
In 2019, an updated look and mission for the Care Bears was introduced in a 2D-animated series called Care Bears: Unlock the Magic. The series currently airs in the US on Cartoon Network, Boomerang, and HBO Max via its Cartoonito preschool block.
In 2022, the Care Bears brand is celebrating its fortieth anniversary through the launch of new consumer products programs with key retail partners.
The new co-branded rug collection by Well Woven features washable materials, a wide range of styles, and affordable prices. Licensed Care Bears characters are featured on the rugs with Pride-themed motifs, patterns, and scenes from the Care Bear kingdom Care-a-Lot.
All Care Bears by Well Woven rugs are stain-resistant, water-resistant, UV-protected, and machine-washable with a chenille top and recycled cotton backing. The collection includes fourteen rug patterns in six different sizes.
Initially founded in 2014 by Adem Ogunc and Luba Solovyeva, Well Woven is a design and manufacturing company that creates affordable home furnishings and textiles using proprietary techniques.
