Amazon MGM Studios has launched an extensive licensing program for its upcoming post-apocalyptic Fallout series.
The Fallout licensing program currently includes 15 partners across a wide range of product categories such as apparel, accessories, collectibles, beverages and more.
In addition, the company is launching a dedicated Amazon storefront that will feature a variety of licensed merchandise, as well as numerous Amazon Merch-on-Demand options.
The Amazon Merch-on-Demand program will include more than 50 Fallout-inspired designs that are available for purchase on items like t-shirts, hoodies, sweaters, phone cases, PopSockets, hats, and tumblers. Additional Fallout designs are expected to be available soon.
“Our goal for the Fallout licensing program, as well as other beloved IP, is to create opportunities for fans to dive deeper into the characters and worlds they love.” said Amazon MGM Studios head, Jamie Kampel. “Through the program we are creating, we are aiming to appeal both to existing Fallout fans as well as new audiences that are discovering the world of Fallout through our series. By working closely with the producers of the series we are delivering authentic and creative products to market through our licensees.”
The current Fallout licensees for collectibles are McFarlane Toys, The Wand Company, Youtooz, Modiphius and Dark Horse.
The merchandise partners for accessories include GUNNAR Optiks for premium computer eyewear and The Wand Company for wallets, bags and replica backpacks.
The current licensing partners for the apparel category are Ripple Junction, Difuzed, IGN and the Bethesda Gear Store.
Ripple Junction has been chosen to create a line of apparel for the U.S. demographic and Difuzed is launching apparel for Fallout fans throughout Europe.
Amazon MGM Studios is also launching three Fallout-inspired art collaborations that are inspired by storylines and characters from the upcoming Prime Video series.
This includes an IGN Artist Series with Kevin Tong, a Displate poster collection and a Dark Horse print series.
The Kevin Tong IGN Artist Series features a Fallout triptych of Lucy, Maximus, and the Ghoul that will be available for purchase as premium art prints and printed on additional merchandise through the IGN Store.
Displate is launching an extensive line of Fallout-themed magnet-mounted metal posters.
The Fallout poster line will include dozens of designs that will be available for purchase through the official Displate website.
The Dark Horse collection of Fallout-themed art prints will be available through the company’s official e-commerce website.
In the beverage category, AriZona and the Bones Coffee Company are launching licensed drinks inspired by the Amazon series.
AriZona’s product line features Green Tea Red Apple Energy, Green Tea Pomegranate Energy and Green Tea Georgia Peach Energy drinks that include Fallout-inspired label designs.
Bones Coffee Company have created three coffee flavors inspired by the three main characters in the Fallout series.
These products have already launched on Amazon as whole beans or ground coffee, and will soon be available as Keurig cups as well.
Bone Coffee Company also plans to release four collectible mugs inspired by Vault-Tec and the three main characters.
An upcoming licensing partnership between Insight Editions and Amazon MGM Studios is also in the works that will include a Fallout-inspired cookbook, cocktail book, journal, coloring book and Fallout art book.
Additional licensing partners are expected to be announced by the studio in the future.
Based on the global video game franchise from Bethesday Softworks, the Fallout series follows the inhabitants of a post-apocalyptic wasteland following the nuclear devastation of the planet more than two hundred years ago.
The Amazon MGM Studios series will launch exclusively on the Prime Video streaming platform beginning on April 11, 2024.
