Gibson has launched a limited-edition Gene Simmons EB-0 Bass guitar as part of its long-standing partnership with the rock and roll icon.
Gene Simmons is best-known as the bassist and co-lead singer of the hard rock band KISS. Gene Simmons performed on all 20 of the band’s studio albums and he has also produced two solo albums.
Simmons rose to international stardom alongside KISS in the 1970s and has been featured in multiple TV shows, movies, consumer products, published works, and more.
The new Gene Simmons EB-0 Bass guitar is inspired by the heavily-modified 1959 EB-0 Bass that Gene Simmons used while on tour with the rock band, KISS, in the 1970s.
The Gene Simmons EB-0 Bass features an ebony VOS finish, VOS hardware throughout, a custom neck shape, a custom pickguard, a fingerboard with Corian nut, Grovers tuners, binding, a high-mass bridge model, and more.
A custom hardshell case and case candy is included with all 100 of the limited-edition Gene Simmons EB-0 Bass guitars.
The hardshell case and case candy was developed by the Gibson Custom Shop in collaboration with Gene Simmons himself.
