Global Icons Making Waves For Brunswick’s Marine Brands

August 26, 2022

Global Icons is powering into the marine industry, winning its first contract in the sector with Brunswick Corporation.
Brunswick is one of the top companies in the global recreational marine industry, producing many of the world’s top brands. Those include Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, Lund and Mercury Marine, among others.
Global Icons, a leading brand licensing agency worldwide, has now been engaged as Brunswick’s global licensing agency.
Through this partnership, Global Icons and Brunswick will collaborate to extend the reach of Brunswick’s portfolio of leading brands into additional strategic licensing programs for their current and future consumers.
Global Icons says its job will be to help define, create, and innovate the future of brand licensing within the recreational boating space through strategic licensing programs that may include casual and technical apparel and accessories, sporting goods, toys, digital, experiential categories along with marketing collaborations for many of Brunswick’s industry-leading brands.
“We believe there are untapped opportunities to deliver licensing innovation to the recreational marine industry through our partnership with Brunswick and their world-class brands,” says Bill McClinton, President of Global Icons.
While this is Global Icons’ first foray into the marine space, it is a major player in a variety of sectors. It clients include large global brands such as Danone North America, HOSTESS BRANDS, TURTLE WAX, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Betty Boop, United States Postal Service, Vespa, and Colgate-Palmolive, among others.
