Kahlúa has partnered with Dunkin’ to introduce a co-branded beverage called Kahlúa Dunkin’ Caramel Swirl Cream Liqueur.
The collaborative product will be the latest addition to the Kahlúa brand’s permanent collection of crafted liqueurs.
“Kahlúa is famous for great-tasting Espresso Martinis and now we’re stirring up everyday occasions with Dunkin’ for something special,” said Kahlúa marketing VP, Caroline Begley. “We’re proud to partner with this iconic coffee brand and continue the partnership in exciting ways.”
Featuring Dunkin’s Caramel Swirl flavoring, the new Kahlúa Cream Liqueur offers a rich taste with strong notes of toffee, vanilla, dulce de leche, coffee, rum and creamy chocolate.
“This collaboration blends premium indulgence with everyday coffee culture,” said Dunkin’ VP, Brian Gilbert. “Kahlúa Dunkin’ Caramel Swirl is a bold step in the cream liqueur category for both brands and a delicious new treat for coffee and cocktail enthusiasts alike.”
The co-branded product is currently available for purchase at certified retailers throughout the US.
Owned by Pernod Ricard, the Kahlúa coffee liqueur brand creates its products using high-quality rum and 100% Arabica coffee beans sourced from farming communities in Veracruz, Mexico.
All 300 tons of the premium-grade coffee used by Kahlúa every year is sourced and harvested through a three-pronged approach to sustainable development developed by its partner Fondo Para la Paz.
The licensing agreement with Dunkin’ was managed by Pernod Ricard USA, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pernod Ricard.
In addition to Kahlua, Pernod Ricard represents an expansive portfolio of alcoholic beverage brands in markegs around the world.
This includes well-known labels such as Absolut Vodka, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Malibu, Código Tequila, Seagram’s Extra Dry Gin, Rabbit Hole Whiskey and many more.
Part of Inspire Brands portfolio of restaurant franchises, Dunkin’ is a quick-service coffee and donut chain that operates more than 14,000 franchised restaurants in close to 40 markets around the world.
